This research involves a case study of very unusual case of a patient with a rare brain condition. There are rare cases in which individuals appear to see, or represent from memory, objects in mirror-reversed form - very few such cases have been reported in
the literature.
Guilherme Kirsten Barbisan: Specialized in Analytical Psychotherapy from the Centro de Estudos LuÃs Guedes (2015), Medical Residency in Psychiatry (2012-2015) and Psychotherapy (2015-2016) at the Hospital de ClÃnicas in Porto Alegre, a medical degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2011). Participated as a visitor to the Program: The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London (2014). Currently, participates as researcher of the Research Project in Psychotherapy of the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. Has experience in Medicine, with emphasis in Psychiatric Medicine (psychotherapy).

Research group and cooperation: The study and the research questions grow out of the candidates clinical practice at Nic Waals Institute (NWI) – an outdoor unit for children and adolescents – at Lovisenberg Hospital in Oslo/ Norway, but the project are rooted in The Clinical Research Group at The Department of Psychology, University of Oslo.
Supervisors: Main supervisor is Professor Siri E. Gullestad, and the co supervisor is Professor Hanne Haavind.
